My First Ever MacBook: M4 Air

I finally did it - my very first MacBook, an M4 Air! I’ve always been skeptical of Apple products - the hype never convinced me… until I actually used one.

My first macOS experience was at my previous company with a banged-up Mac Mini to fix iOS bugs. Slow and glitchy, it didn’t make me want one of my own. Later, swapping a newer mini with a colleague was better, but I still preferred tinkering in Ubuntu on my old Windows machine to explore command scripts without relying on GUI.

Fast forward to 2024: at my current company, I was assigned to an iOS project. Configuring the Mac myself, exploring its features, running commands - everything just clicked. The audio was crisp, the screen looked amazing, and it all worked smoothly. That’s when I knew: I need a personal Mac for development.

So here I am, on the base model (budget-friendly πŸ˜…), installing all the apps I need, ready to start building cool tools, and aiming to publish apps for both mobile platforms.

And honestly? Owning my first Mac feels like unlocking a new level - can’t wait to see where it takes me. πŸš€
